Patron Health & Safety Policy
For the safety of our musicians, staff, and patrons, the Modesto Symphony Orchestra’s leadership has implemented a COVID-19 safety policy. This policy follows the latest recommendations from the California Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Effective Monday, April 25, 2022:
Following the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) recommendation, the Modesto Symphony Orchestra requires patrons to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 lab test.
Antigen tests must be taken within 24 hours of entry. PCR tests must be taken within 48 hours. Home tests are not accepted. Children under 2 are exempt from the testing mandate.
Masks are recommended for all patrons indoors.
The Gallo Center will accept digital proof—i.e., a photo or download of your documents on your phone—for either vaccination proof or negative lab test. In either case, photo ID also is required.
We urge you to arrive earlier than usual for performances. Thank you for your understanding.
These policies will continue until further notice.
