MSO at Home: John Hillebrandt in Recital
The MSO is excited to announce our first online event! Tune in live on July 22nd for a home recital performed by MSO pianist John Hillebrandt and hosted by Associate Conductor Ryan Murray. John has put together a short recital with works by Ravel, Chopin, and one of his own compositions, Nocturne. Ryan and John will discuss each piece and give some background on the program as well as what they’ve been up to since we last saw them on stage. This will be a wonderful way to get the live music experience while getting a bit of behind-the-scenes insight.
We miss performing and connecting with our community so until we can return to the stage, we’ll be bringing a variety of online content to you each month! You’ll have a chance to enjoy intimate recitals performed by MSO musicians and get to know them better through our new digital setting. We are also looking to find ways to share archival recordings from past MSO concerts, educational offerings for all ages, and other fun ways to connect online.
