February 2020 - The Modesto Symphony Orchestra (MSO) will perform That’s Entertainment! on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 7:30pm at the Gallo Center for the Arts. Returning to Modesto for the first time in seven years, guest conductor Lucas Waldin will lead the MSO through some of the best movie musicals like West Side Story, Chicago, and Les Misérables.
“We are excited for Lucas Waldin to return to Modesto to lead the MSO through some of the most iconic movie musicals,” said Caroline Nickel, President & CEO of the Modesto Symphony Orchestra Association. “Our audience really enjoyed Waldin when he was here in 2013 and he’s excited to return. His musical selections will remind you of the remarkable performances by Audrey Hepburn and Gene Kelly to Hugh Jackman and Catherine Zeta-Jones.”
